As the
official fashion partner of the Berlinale, Hugo Boss offered an exclusive
wardrobing service to members of the Festival juries and selected talents.
The
festival supported Hugo boss by facilitating direct contact between the
interested parties in order to arrange a fitting appointment either at their
location of origin or at the festival showroom installed at the Grand Hyatt in
the heart of the festival. Well equipped with gala attire collections for men
and women, the Hugo Boss showroom allowed short-notice appointments and also
provided a last-minute lease service in case of unforeseen emergencies e.g. in
case of lost luggage.
In addition
to festival juries and film team members, Hugo Boss did also equip the gala
event presenters for their stage appearance at Berlinale Palast (Opening Gala,
Shooting Stars Award Ceremony, Honorary Golden Bear Ceremony and the presenters
of the daily competition premieres) and at further gala venues.
Hugo Boss
also invited their film and fashion testimonials to present the latest
collection on the red carpet. In 2015, Hugo Boss presented made-to-measure
dresses by creative director Jason Wu featuring six actresses in a German VOGUE
photo spread – and on the red carpet.
As ideal
supplement to its partnership with the Berlinale, Hugo Boss also supported the
Shooting Stars initiative of the European Film Promotion (EFP).
